Update: PHI Helicopter down near Grand Isle

The U.S. Coast Guard has a 45-foot response boat and an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter in the Grand Isle area searching for the pilot of a downed PHI helicopter.
The helicopter is under water and not visible from the surface or air, according to Petty Officer Steve Lehmann.
The helicopter went down 35 miles southwest of Grand Isle, and the pilot was the only person on board. The Coast Guard received word of the accident around 4:13 this afternoon. Attempts to reach PHI were unsuccessful.
