Update: Man hit by train

According to witnesses, the man hit and killed by a train this morning walked directly into the train's path, Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire said. She isn't releasing the man's name until family is notified. Witnesses told police the man walked in front of the train despite the guard arms being down. It happened at the intersection of Willow and Anderson Streets.
