Update: Jennings Fire on E. Willis

Just after midnight Tuesday morning, emergency officials were called to the scene of a major house fire on E Willis Street in Jennings. Officials say 3 people were in the house at the time that the fire broke out. Two of the people escaped, one handicapped man died in the house. The fire apparently started in a bedroom. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. There will be more updates as the information becomes available.
