Update: Helicopter crashes into radio tower

Acadia deputies are investigating a helicopter crash just near Crowley. It happened off of Highway 13 at 2163 Benton Road. There are unknown injuries at this time. Acadiana Broadcast Partners says the helicopter crashed into one of its broadcast towers. According to the company, the tower transmits the signal for radio station KYBG, known on air as "Big 102.1." The company says it does not yet know the extent of the damage at the site.
