Update: Fatal accident kills one Duson man

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Department has confirmed that a fatal accident occurred on Tuesday, December 20 just before 11 P.M. Kasey Kramer of Duson was apparently driving the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Deputies responded to a reported traffic crash in the 200 block of Leblanc Road. When officers arrived, they found a Ford Explorer which had apparently hit the guard rail and gone into the coulee. The vehicle completely submerged and rescue divers from the Sheriff's Office Marine Division went in after it. 39 year-old Kramer was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lafayette Parish Coroner.
The investigation is on going at this time.
