UPDATE-2 People Shot to Death Son Being Questioned

UPDATE-WEST MONROE, La. (AP) - A Ouachita (WASH-uh-tah) Parish
sheriff's detective says two people were shot to death and their
son is being questioned.
Deputy Meghan Russell wouldn't give the victims' names, but said
both were killed by shotgun.
KNOE-TV reports that they were killed sometime Thursday night
and the killings reported about 7 a.m. Friday. It says the boy's
name is being withheld because he is a juvenile.
They were killed in a house about 10 miles from West Ouachita
High School, where the boy was arrested.
Schools superintendent Bob Webber told The News-Star that a
student there was arrested in a classroom and a shotgun was found
in his truck. Calls to his office were not immediately returned.

WEST MONROE, La. (AP) - A student has been arrested at West
Ouachita (WASH-uh-tah) High School, and the sheriff's office says
its connected with two deaths.
Sheriff's Maj. Jason Pleasant tells The News-Star that deputies
are investigating two deaths Friday at a house about 10 miles from
the school. He says the deaths were directly related to a lockdown
Friday morning at West Ouachita High School.
Schools superintendent Bob Webber tells the newspaper a student
there was arrested in a classroom and a shotgun was found in his
truck.
