Unknown man robs Circle K, Lake Charles

On Sunday, December 18th, around 11 P.M., officers with the Lake Charles Police Department responded to an armed robbery call at 520 East Prien Lake Road at the Circle K. During the investigation, police discovered that an unknown white male, approximately 5'6" - 5'10", weighing approximately 140 to 150 pounds, and wearing a U.S. Army Woodland camouflage jacket and camouflage pants, produced a silver handgun and demanded money from the Circle K employee. A 1st Calvary Division patch was displayed on the left sleeve of the suspect's jacket. The suspect had a brown or green ski mask covering his face and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled onto his head.

The unknown white male took an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot towards College Street. Should anyone have any information about this offense, please contact Detective John Loftin with the LCPD or call Crimestoppers at 439.2222.
