Unidentified body found at gas station

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) Police say an unidentified man was found dead behind a Lafayette gas station.

Police Cpl. Paul Mouton said foul play is not suspected. Mouton says a coroner's report is pending to determine cause of death.

The body was found around 8:20 p.m. Monday.

Mouton tells The Advocate that the man's identity was not released Tuesday because his family has not been notified.
