LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - The National Science Foundation has awarded a $127,449 grant to the University of Louisiana-Lafayette to develop programs for Louisiana middle school teachers.
The Advertiser reported the grant will fund The Louisiana Noyce Teaching Fellows and Master Teaching Fellows Planning Project.
Christina Eubanks-Turner, assistant professor in university's mathematics department, is in charge of the project. She said the effort targets improvement in science, technology, engineering and math education.
