SAN MARCOS, Texas - Kaylee Nemeth recorded six kills to lead the Louisiana volleyball team, but the combination of Amari Deardorff and Shelby Vas Matt proved to be too much as Texas State defeated the Ragin' Cajuns, 25-15, 26-24, 25-12, in the Sun Belt Conference opener for both teams Friday at Strahan Coliseum.
Louisiana (10-5, 0-1 Sun Belt) will return to action on Saturday when it travels to face UT Arlington in a 7 p.m. contest at College Park Center. Live statistics and a live video stream (subscription required) will be available on the Volleyball schedule page at RaginCajuns.com.
