UL - UNO Rivalry Comes to an End

UNO Athletics has announced plans to drop down and compete in Division III. With the move, the Privateers are leaving the Sun Belt Conference effective in July. UNO's exit from the Sun Belt meant UL's game with the Privateers Thursday Night at the Cajun Dome was the last regular Sun Belt Conference basketball game between the two schools. It brings to an end a heated rivalry full of thrilling wins and heartbreaking losses. With Thursday's 70-53 Win, UL leads the all time series with UNO 37-32.
