UL releases New Orleans Bowl schedule of events

The UL Athletic Department has released a schedule of events for the week leading up to the New Orleans Bowl. That schedule is as follows:

Cajun Walk and Food Truck Roundup
Tuesday - December 17
11:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Cajun Field Gate A
Ragin' Cajuns football team leaves for New Orleans Bowl with Cajun Walk at 12:45 p.m. Come out for lunch and send off the team - Cajuns style!

Ragin' Cajuns "Were Back Again!" Parade, presented by Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission
Thursday - December 19
9:00 pm
New Orleans Marriott
555 Canal Street
The Pride of Acadiana marching band will lead fans along Bourbon Street in Second Line fashion. Fans are encouraged to bring Mardi Gras beads to throw while walking the parade. Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission is a proud sponsor of Ragin' Cajuns athletics.

Ragin Cajuns Fan Fest, presented by Home Bank
Friday - December 20
4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
New Orleans Marriott
555 Canal Street
Party for Ragin' Cajuns fans, with live music, cash bar and a room of Ragin' Cajuns. Home Bank is a proud supporter of Ragin' Cajuns athletics.


New Orleans Bowl Friday Night Concert
Friday - December 20
7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Champions Square
Free concert featuring The Charlie Daniels Band and Travis Tritt

RCAF/UL Alumni Association Pre-game Tailgate Party, presented by Park Place Surgical Hospital
Saturday - December 21
4:00 - 6:30 p.m.
Superdome Bienville room (Enter Gate C)
Ragin' Cajuns fans are invited to the pre-Game tailgating party, with live music provided by the Bayou Boys and the Storyville Stompers. Admission is free to all RCAF 2013 Annual Fund donors and 2013 UL Alumni Assocaition members. Please bring your membership cards for easy access. Open to all other fans for $10,00 per person. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Fans will be able to go to their seat directly from the party.

R & L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Tailgate Party at Champions Square
Saturday, December 21
5:30 - 7:15 p.m.
Champions Square
Fans can get ready for the game and enjoy live music by Band Camp outside the Louisiana Superdome. Entertainment, food and beverages are available. This event is free to the public.
