UL, LSU Both With Saturday Doubleheaders After Friday Rainouts

 

MOBILE, Ala. - The opening game of the South Alabama series scheduled for Friday night at Stanky Field has been postponed due to heavy rain in the Mobile area. The Cajuns and Jaguars will play a doubleheader Saturday starting at 3 p.m.

 

Both games can be heard on News-Talk 96.5 FM with Jay Walker making the call and Jeff Schneider providing color. Live stats are available on USAJaguars.com.

BATON ROUGE, La. - The LSU-Alabama baseball game scheduled for Friday night in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field has been postponed due to heavy rain.

 

The teams will now play two games on Saturday. The first game will begin at Noon CT, and the second game will begin at 7 p.m. CT.

 

The stadium will be cleared at the conclusion of the Noon game, and fans will be re-admitted to the stadium with the proper ticket for the 7 p.m. game.

 

Fans should use their Game #34 tickets for admission to the Noon game, and they should use their Game #33 tickets for admission to the 7 p.m. game.

 

Saturday's 7 p.m. game is considered the make-up game for Friday night's postponement.
