Grad Expo 2014 will be held from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at UL Lafayette's Alumni Center. The event is open to seniors who will graduate this spring.
Attendees can order caps and gowns, UL Lafayette official rings, graduation announcement stationary and portraits at Grad Expo.
They also can speak with representatives of the University's Office of Career Services, Graduate School and Federal Credit Union.
"Many students like the convenience. It provides one location for students to purchase graduation items, and get information about careers and graduate school," said Catherine Bedouin, UL Lafayette Alumni Association assistant director.
Attendees can speak to someone from the UL Lafayette Alumni Association about membership, Baudoin added. Graduating seniors receive a complimentary one-year membership to the Alumni Association.
Students who will receive bachelors and masters degrees must purchase caps and gowns. Cap and gown rental is available only to students who will receive doctoral degrees.
Caps and gowns ordered after Feb. 26 will include a late fee.
That date is also the deadline for graduating seniors who want to participate in the Spring 2014 Ring Ceremony to order official University rings.
Free beverages will be served between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Grad Expo.
