UL Baseball Eyes Fall World Series Next Week

Ragin' Cajuns baseball fans get their first glimpse at the 2012-13 squad next week as the annual Fall World Series is held at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field starting Monday, Oct. 29.
The 18th annual edition of the event is scheduled to run Monday-Friday, Oct. 29-Nov. 2. All games start at 6 p.m.
Head coach Tony Robichaux will announce the format of the series, and the two rosters that the 2012-13 squad will be divided into, later this week.
Admission to the series is free.
The series not only gives the Cajuns coaches a chance to acclimate a roster that features 18 newcomers to game situations, but it's an opportunity for the fans to see the "new faces" that were brought in and where they might figure in the Cajuns plans offensively and defensively.
