TX Couple Robbed at Gunpoint in Upper Lafayette

Lafayette Police are investigating a motel robbery that occured around 10:00 Saturday night at the Best Value Motel on University Avenue.

Police say an elderly couple from Texas was robbed at gunpoint, after the suspect pushed his way inside their motel room.

21-year old Allen Wade Tolliver was arrested and charged with armed robbery. The couple was not seriously injured.
