Two Lafayette Roads to Close This Week

Public works projects will shut down parts of two Lafayette roads in the next few days. LCG officials say McKinley Street between Tulane and University Avenues will be shut down for two weeks beginning tomorrow at 7:00 A. M. The closure will allow crews to install drainage pipes. On Thursday, Spring Street railroad crossing will be closed beginning at 6:30 A. M. for repairs. The crossing will reopen around 4:00 P. M. Detour routes will be made available for both closures.
