Two Dead & One Missing After Boating Accident

MAUREPAS, La. (AP) - The bodies of two victims of a weekend
boating accident in Lake Maurepas have been found.
The bodies of 20-year-old Ann Hite and 14-year-old Mikayla
Thibodeaux, both of Gonzales, were found Sunday, said Adam Einck of
the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. A third person,
24-year-old Ryan Ducote, is still missing.
Authorities said the accident happened Saturday when a boat,
which was left on idle while the boaters were swimming, roared into
gear as one person leaped out of the vessel.
Two of the victims, 24-year-old Trey White and 26-year-old Blake
Caronna of Gonzales, were rescued by another boater. White was
hospitalized.
