The Vermilion Municipal Task Force made two arrest for illicit narcotics.
While working on street level sales, patrol agents received information that a vehicle was parked on private property and was distributing drugs. Officers received another call while traveling to the location that claimed that two people had just purchased suspected drugs and were pulling away from the vehicle.
Agents made an investigative stop of the questioned another vehicle and questioned the subjects. Once advising each person of their reason for stop and mirandizing them it was found that the two subjects had indeed purchased several prescription pills from the man in the vehicle. Crack cocaine was also found in their possession. Agents failed to locate the vehicle in question that was suspected to have the persons selling the drugs.
Lucas Cessac and Pamela Cessac were arrested and charged with possession of schedule II narcotics and possession of crack cocaine. The total bond set was $14,000.00 for each.
