Two Arrested on Gas Theft and Drug Charges

Two men are in the Vermilion Parish Jail after sheriff's deputies say a gas theft investigation led to a drug arrest. Deputies were called to a farm on Grosse Isle Road between Abbeville and Erath where the alleged theft took place. They say they found 24-year-old Dontavius Davis and 30-year-old Nicholas Wilson at the scene. A search of their car turned up cocaine. Investigators say the pair admitted to the owning the drugs and stealing the gasoline.
