Two Arrested in Connection with Store Robbery

A Mamou mother and daughter are behind bars for their alleged involvement in a grocery store robbery. Kimberland Poulard and Latifa Matthew are both charged with principal to armed robbery in connection with the August 25 hold-up of the Mamou Piggly Wiggly. Police say they believe Poulard was the mastermind behind the crime. Matthew was employed at the store at the time of the robbery. Poulard's son and Matthew's brother, Kaworski Matthew, was one of three other people arrested in connection with the incident.
