Deputies in Rapides Parish arrested two people after a child was brought to the hospital for a "severe injury" on March 3, 2014. The female child, who is under the age of 12, had severe bruising to the buttocks area.
33-year-old Darrell Robinson was charged with 2 counts of 2nd degree cruelty to a juvenile. 34-year-old Angela Cerbus was charged with 1 count of obstruction of justice and one count of accessory after the face. Both are from Alexandria and were released on bond. Robinson posted a $10,000 bond; Cerbus had a $3,000 bond.
Deputies say they consider the juvenile a victim of aggravated battery.
