Two Accused of Aiding Runaway Arrested

Two people accused lying to police about a runaway teen are in the Lafayette Parish Jail. Christina Benoit and Eric Broussard are charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Sheriff's deputies say the two provided transportation for the 16-year old to get away from her home and then hid her location from authorities. Deputies would not identify the runaway incident with which Benoit and Broussard are connected. A third suspect in this case is still at large.
