Lafayette, LA- Attention all Twilighters....A New Moon will rise Thursday, November 19th, at The Grand Theatre 16 on Johnston Street and United Blood Services will be joining in on the vampirisms by collecting life saving blood donations from 8:30pm until Midnight. The first 10 donors will receive a general admission movie pass, and all donors will receive an exclusive New Moon design, black t-shirt, available on a first come first serve basis. If you can't donate on Thursday, United Blood Services will be at the Grand 16 on Friday, November 20th from 5pm-10:00pm, and Saturday, November 21st from 11:00am-3:00pm with general admission tickets for the first 15 donors.
New Moon blood drives will also take place at Celebrity Theatres in Broussard on Friday, November 20th, from 5:00pm-9:00pm and at Wal Mart on Pinhook on Saturday, November 21st, from 1!:00am-3:00pm.
"More than 5,000 pints of blood are needed each month to meet the needs of over 60 medical facilities, here in south Louisiana. As your community blood provider, it is crucial to maintain an adequate blood supply for local patients this holiday season," says Amanda Landers, Director of Donor Recruitment, United Blood Services.
