Tulane student dies in Cape Cod crash

MASHPEE, Mass. (AP) - A Tulane University student spending the summer at her Cape Cod home has died in a car crash.
Mashpee police say 19-year-old Lauren Fulone died Monday at a hospital from injuries suffered in a head-on crash.
Police tell the Cape Cod Times that Fulone was heading to work at a bank when she crashed into an SUV.
Officials at Mashpee High remembered her as a thoughtful and optimistic teen who liked helping others.
She was going to be a sophomore at Tulane in the fall.
The accident remains under investigation.
