MADISON, Miss. (AP) - After challenging an earlier ruling from the state's accrediting body, Tulane University's Madison campus has been granted full accreditation.
The New Orleans private college was asked last month to provide additional details about library offerings available to students.
The Clarion-Ledger reports the Mississippi Commission on College Accreditation held a brief meeting last week to confirm the university met all requirements for full accreditation.
Since opening last summer, enrollment at Tulane-Madison has grown to nearly 100 students.
The campus offers courses in media arts, applied computing, social sciences and homeland security.
