NEW ORLEANS -- WWL-TV reports that Bob Toledo is no longer the head coach for Tulane football.

Days after the team was routed by UTEP, 44-7, a source confirmed Toledo is no longer head coach for the team. Toledo and the school parted ways officially at 8:15 a.m.

The school has called a 10:30 a.m. press conference, when Toledo's dismissal is expected to be discussed. Early indications are OL coach Mark Hutson will to take over as interim head coach.

With a 2-5 record this season, Toledo was in his fifth season leading the Green Wave and finishes with a 15-40 record at the university.
