Captain of the lift boat Jeremy Parfait and Ted Derise Jr. sat down with KATC to explain the truth of the events that led to them having to abandon their vessel and drift in the Gulf of Mexico in the middle of Tropical Storm Nate for days.
The men lost two of their friends in the ordeal, Craig Myers and Nick Reed both of New Iberia.
Craig Myers father also speaks about about having to wait on news if his son would return safely.
