CHALMETTE, La. (AP) - St. Bernard Parish officials plan to meet Wednesday with local haulers who want to be involved in the removal of concrete slabs, largely remaining from damage caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
Parish officials will meet with truckers, who can register to work for contractors in the program.
The session is set for 5:30 p.m. on the first floor of the St. Bernard Parish Government Complex at 8201 W. Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette.
