Trial has been postponed until October for a Morgan City man accused of killing a Bayou Vista man. Darby Mack Frickey was arrested in December 2011 and charged in the second degree murder of Mark Berthelot, and his trial was scheduled for Aug. 6. A farmer found Berthelot's body in November 2011 on Hwy 317 in Centerville. "It turned out through admissions that there was an altercation involving the two which resulted in the death of Mark Berthelot," explained St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert.

Frickey's trial has been rescheduled for Oct. 22.
