Trial for a Lafayette Consolidated Government employee accused of hiding a video camera inside a men's restroom urinal has been delayed until next year. Jeffery Larcade, charged with video voyeurism, was in court today, and his attorney asked that his trial be continued to March 4, 2013.
Larcade worked for Lafayette Consolidated Government as a planner in the Department of Planning, Zoning and Codes. A department employee discovered the camera, which was taped to the urinal and contained images of men using the urinal, according to Lafayette police. The employee searched the camera's memory card and found several videos and photographs of other employees using the bathroom.
Larcade's attorney filed a not guilty, written plea with the Lafayette Parish Court for his video voyeurism charge.
