Transportation unit arrives at Fort Polk

FORT POLK, La. (AP) - An activation ceremony is set for Monday for a new unit which is relocating to Fort Polk.
The 41st Transportation Company will be welcomed in a ceremony set for 1 p.m. Monday.
The unit has 164 soldiers. Counting family members, the Fort Polk population will increase by around 500.
The 41st Transportation Company will be part of Fort Polk's 1st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade. The company is out of Grafenwoehr, Germany.
