Train Kills Man In Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Police say a train struck and killed a
man in downtown Shreveport.
Investigators say the accident happened at 9:26 p.m. Sunday on
the railroad trestle that crosses the Red River between the Texas
Street and Interstate 20 bridges.
Authorities have identified the man but are not releasing his
name pending notification of family members. Police say the man
appeared to have been sitting on the tracks at the time of the
accident.
