KENNER, La. (AP) - For the first two months of 2011, passenger
traffic at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is up
The airport says most of the increase is due to an 11 percent
jump in January, as compared with January 2010. February passenger
traffic was up only 0.4 percent from February 2010.
Just over 1.26 million passengers boarded and left flights at
the airport during the first two months of the year.
Southwest Airlines continues to be the largest carrier operating
in New Orleans, followed by Delta Air Lines.
