Traffic Stop Leads to Pot Bust

Authorities in St. Martin Parish have made another marijuana bust on I-10. Sheriff's deputies arrested Donovan Smith and Mukeyah Nichols late Friday night. Officials say the duo from Houston was en route to New Orleans when a deputy stopped them. A search of the car turned up nearly 50 pounds of weed. Both are charged with possession with intent to distribute.
