The Inaugural Krewe de Bayou Mardi Gras Ball is scheduled on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Downtown Ballroom & Bistro in Downtown Lafayette.
This Krewe de Bayou Mardi Gras Ball is a Ball in which anyone and everyone can come. The Ball will not have Krewe fees and will be open to the public to purchase a ticket. The theme for this first year's event will be the Roaring 20's and features entertainment from Lafayette favorites Nik-L-Beer and Vegabond Swing sponsored by Beads for Less. Radio stations 99.9 KTDY, 97.3 The Dawg, Hot 107.9, Planet Radio 105.1, NewsTalk KPEL 96.5, SportsRadio ESPN 1420 and Talk Radio 960am Talk Radio are presenting the ball.
There will be a King and Queen who will be announced in the coming weeks as well as Dukes and Maids. In addition, the traditional bead throws will occur throughout the night. This is a 21+ event. Advance general admission tickets will be made available for purchase for $30.00 at Schlotzsky's on Johnston or Pinhook and TicketFly.com. VIP Upper Level Balcony tickets will be available for purchase at TicketFly.com.
