Today, the Town of Arnaudville rescinded the boil water advisory.
On April 23, 2013 there was a problem that made it necessary to close a 6 inch water valve on West Railroad Street that caused loss of pressure to some of the customers. The problem impacted customers on Olive Street between Union and Pine, West Railroad between Union and Pine, Pine between Olive and West Railroad, Union between Olive and West Railroad and Arnaudville Elementary.
Samples were collected by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals - Office of Public Health. A notification from the DHH to the town of Arnaudville has deemed the water safe for consumption, according to a press release.
