There will be a softball tournament at Pelican Park to benefit Special Olympics.

Meet & Greet is open to the public there will be no cover charged at the gate. Gates open at 5pm. An introduction of the teams and others will take place at 6pm. Dj Laydon Babineaux will open up and get the atmosphere set for the festivities of the night.
Shane Vanicor & The Blues Intruders will perform from 7pm -7:45pm. Richard Lebouef & Two Step will close out the Live music section of the night playing from 8pm-9pm. Fun Jumps for the Kids, Free Jambalaya while it lasts and as well adult beverages will be sold by Pelican Park so leave your ice chest at home.

Open to the public but a $5 fee for adults, 5-17 pay $2 and Children 4 and under are free. The gates open at 8am. At 9am opening ceremony. Tournament play will start at 10pam. Local Live Music performers and a Dj on the main stage through out the day. Fun jumps and face painting for the kids & concessions will be sold. Players are able to participate in the home run derby. Donate and bid on the silent auction until 5pm.
