Tourist center building starts collapsing in Morgan City

A newly constructed building in Morgan City started collapsing this morning. Morgan City Police were called around 9:52 concerning the new tourist center on MLK Blvd. About a handful of people were in the building at the time, said Morgan City Asst. Police Chief Glenn Blanco. KATC has reached out to the executive director of the Cajun Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
