Toll amnesty program starts Monday

The state Department of Transportation and Development will begin a toll amnesty program on Monday for commuters using the Crescent City Connection who owe toll fees.
The program waives late charges and administrative fees if outstanding toll charges are paid in full. The amnesty program will end Oct. 1.
Participants must complete a CCC Toll Amnesty Program Application. Applications must be postmarked by Oct. 1 and mailed to DOTD, Attn: CCC Toll Violation Amnesty Program, P.O. Box 6297, New Orleans, LA 70174-6297. Checks or money orders will be accepted. Checks should be made payable to DOTD.
Additional information is available online at www.ccctollamnesty.com .
Tolls are no longer connected for the bridges, which cross the Mississippi River.
