Toddler Burned in Bathtub of Hot Water

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Authorities say a 60-year-old Shreveport

woman has been booked with child cruelty after a toddler showed up

at a hospital with second- and third-degree burns.

Police say detectives determined the child had been placed in a

bathtub of hot water.

State social service workers called Shreveport police on

Thursday after the 2-year-old girl had been taken to LSU Hospital.

Lena Moore is jailed in lieu of $60,000 bond.
