Toddler Accidentally Drowns in Caldwell Parish

COLUMBIA, La. (AP) - Caldwell Parish deputies say they're
investigating the drowning of a 2-year-old boy from Monroe, but
consider it accidental.
Deputies said that Brandon Berry's body was found
Sunday night in a campground swimming area, shortly after his
mother reported him missing.
Detective Cedric Meredith says there was confusion about who was
watching the toddler after a cousin took him to use the bathroom.
