NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Plans for a new Tiffany & Co. jewelry store at New Orleans' Canal Place are taking shape.
A $2 million building permit was issued earlier this month at the Shops at Canal Place for a renovation project to accommodate the jeweler's move to New Orleans.
New Orleans CityBusiness reports (http://bit.ly/13qKlP1 ) the iconic New York-based jewelry retailer is planning to open its first location in Louisiana this fall inside the three-story shopping center at the foot of Canal Street.
The permit lists Donahue-Favret Contractors of Mandeville as the builder for the project. No other information was immediately available.
