MIAMI (AP) - Three men who escaped from a Louisiana jail have
been captured in Miami and police were examining a bloody knife
found in a truck the trio allegedly stole.
The U.S. Marshals Service said the men were captured Monday at a
Miami motel. The truck containing the knife was discovered at a
Miami Beach park. Investigators want to find the source of the
blood.
Jailed on charges of escape are 22-year-old Quentin M. Truehill
of New Orleans, 39-year-old Kentrell F. Johnson of Marksville and
22-year-old Peter Hughes of Abbeville. Shirley Marcus, 40, of Miami
is also charged with harboring fugitives.
Records didn't list attorneys for any suspects.
The men were wanted after escaping from the Avoyelles
(uh-VOY'-lz) Parish Jail in March.
