Three Church Point Businesses Targeted by Would-Be Burglar

Church Point police are investigating a string of business break-ins that took place late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. Investigators say someone broke the glass at the Dollar General, Smoke 'n' Go, and State Farm Insurance between 10:00 P. M. and 2:00 A. M., but the suspect was not able to enter any of the buildings. Police say they believe the same person also broke into and stole money from a car wash coin machine.
