Three Busted in Jennings Burglary Ring

Three men are in jail on aggravated burglary charges after police say they allegedly stole generators, guns, and other items. Jennings police say Anthony Jones of Jennings, Davis Freeman of Ville Platte, and Robert Earl Simpson of Port Arthur, Texas, admitted to stealing the goods. Police say they received a tip about the three unloading generators, guns, and a pressure washer at a home. Police later found out some of the stolen items were pawned at Lake Charles-area stores. Simpson is also charged with burglary of a religious building.
