Three people have been arrested in connection to a double murder and arson on Jan. 10 in Opelousas. Police Chief Perry Gallow held a press conference to announce Robert Rideau, 32, is charged with first degree murder, Charles Rideau, 24, is charged with aggravated arson and accessory to first degree murder, and 23-year-old BreyAnna Vidrine is charged with accessory to first degree murder. Also, police say this afternoon they found a gun used in the murders.

Chief Gallow says the murders and arson were drug related. Gary Richard and Desmond Lewis were found dead inside a house on N. Court Street. Robert Rideau was former roommate of Gary Richard, and the house was set on fire to try to cover up the crime, Gallow said.
