Thibodeaux Man Charged with Soliciting Minor Online

Franklin police have arrested a 42-year-old Thibodeaux man for allegedly having using the internet for solicit sex from a teen. Investigators have charged Jiba Raj Acharya with two counts each of computer-aided solicitation of a minor for sexual purposes, attempted possession of pornography involving juveniles, and indecent behavior with juveniles. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office also had warrants out for Acharya's arrest on solicitation and indecent behavior with juveniles charges.
