Thibodaux taxes due this week

THIBODAUX, La. (AP) - Thibodaux residents have until Jan. 31 to pay property taxes before accruing additional costs.
The city granted a grace period for taxpayers because mailed notices were delayed.
Taxes normally become delinquent after Dec. 31. Taxes that remain unpaid after Feb. 1 will accrue an additional 10 percent collection cost and interest.
