If you're looking for a strength training class that will work your whole body then Pump at Red's may be just the thing for you.
Pump, or Body Pump as it's also known, has been on the fitness scene for awhile.
"It's a full body workout , yeah, people don't know what they're getting themselves into for the first time," says instructor Sara Habetz.
Pump uses basic weight training moves like chest press, bicep curls, shoulder press and squats. It utilizes lots of repetitions to really get the muscles burning. How much weight you use is up to you and everything move can be adjusted to your abilities and fitness goals.
"The women always want to get lean and tone so you can always use lighter weights, more reps and you can up your weights as heavy as you want if you want to build that muscle mass you can go for it," says Habetz.
Pump is also a great option if you are new to strength training. The qualified instructors at Red's will help guide you in each movement to ensure proper form and pacing.
"This is a great class for every single audience we have here at red's, for anyone that wants to get in shape."
